RIMWORLD IS A STORY GENERATOR delivers unpredictable stories involving colonists willing to do anything to survive against vicious raiders and complicated relationships. The game does this by intelligently generating events which produce the most interesting narratives for your colony with one of three A.I storytellers. Randy Random, the wild card, will throw unpredictable challenges at you; Cassandra Classic offers a tense but balanced experience; whilst Phoebe Chillax likes to relax for a gentle yet increasing difficulty curve.

BUILD. DEFEND. EXPLORE Each game generates a random planet teeming with diverse areas filled with unique wildlife, fauna and environments. Choose where to land your crash pods and begin your journey. Form a caravan of people, animals and prisoners and explore the world in search of kidnapped colonists; trade and attend peace talks; attack your enemies and complete quests. You’re not stuck in one place, you can even move your entire colony to a new place. Research enough and use futuristic transport pods to explore faster.

ENDLESS COLONIST INTERACTION Each colonist comes with their own generated skill sets, likes, dislikes, needs and quirks. You may end up with a motley crew of a farmer, hunter and accountant; or maybe an elite squad of retired soldiers. As your colony expands you will acquire more colonists - capture them from rival factions, take prisoners in combat or take in travelers from quests. Your colonists will form relationships with others. Maybe they will become friends, lovers or even rivals. The best cook and expert builder may be happily married - until one of them falls for the handsome hunter who saved them from a Thrumbo attack.
